LONELINESS

Loneliness is the lead single taken from Pet Shop Boys' 15th studio album Nonetheless, and the duo's first new music out of the traps since returning to Parlophone Records - the label which released their iconic and massively successful material spanning 1985 – 2012.
Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe wrote the album during lockdown, recording it with producer James Ford, the pair used an orchestra on every track. The single landed 16 February 2024, with the album following 26 April.
Loneliness is a disco song about social isolation and features orchestral crescendos, it was also issued on CD single and featured additional tracks Party In The Blitz and Through You (extended mix).
The video for Pet Shop Boys' Loneliness was directed by Alasdair McLellan.
