LABOUR

Labour is the debut UK Top 40 hit single of Derbyshire indie-folk artist Paris Paloma.
The song, which went viral on TikTok in 2023, represented a rallying cry across the globe. Women the world over were drawn to the song's lyrics, which criticise the patriarchal expectations of women performing unpaid labour in marriage.
Written by Paris Paloma and produced by Justin Glasco, Labour earned the British singer-songwriter her first Top 40 appearance on the UK Official Singles Chart, and laid the foundations for the release of her debut album, Cacophony, to follow in summer 2024, featuring Labour in its tracklisting.
