MR. BLOBBY
by MR. BLOBBY

Mr Blobby was the chaotic pink wobbling comedic device on Noel’s House Party television show, who’d regularly turn up to create havoc. In reality he was portrayed by Barry Killerby, and was the brainchild of British comedy writer Charlie Adam. It was written by Philip Raxster, produced by Paul Shaw and David Rogers, and was released on November, 22 1993 and entered the UK Official Singles Chart at Number 3 a week later and rose to Number 1 the following week for one week, before returning again  the next week, this time staying put for a fortnight, also meaning it became 1993's Official Christmas Number 1.
