MESSY

Messy is the breakthrough single of South London singer-songwriter Lola Young.
Taken from her second album This Wasn't Meant For You Anyway, the four-and-a-half-minute track showcases Lola's storytelling and gritty vocals.
Written by Conor Dickinson and Lola Young, and produced by Solomonophonic, manuka, Monsune and Carter Lang, the song captures the spirit of leaving an angry voicemail to her lover who will never be satisfied.
On 13 December 2024, Messy delivered Lola Young her debut chart appearance, earning a place on the Official Singles Chart Top 20 at Number 11.
