FOOD AID
by LADBABY
LadBaby - aka Mark and Roxanne Hoyle - made Official UK Singles Chart history in December 2022 when their fifth song, Food Aid, became their fifth consecutive Official UK Singles Chart Number 1. They were the first act to ever claim five consecutive Christmas Number 1s, following We Built This City (2018), I Love Sausage Rolls (2019), Don't Stop Me Eatin' (2020) and their collaboration with Elton John and Ed Sheeran on Sausage Rolls For Everyone (2021).
They previously held the record with The Beatles for the most Christmas Number 1s by any act with four, but with Food Aid, they actually overtook the Fab Four, setting Official Charts history in the process with a feat that will be hard for any subsequent act to beat.
