Elton John's Candle In The Wind '97 is the best-selling single of all time in the UK.

A re-written and re-recorded version of the 1973 hit Candle In The Wind penned by Elton John and songwriting partner Bernie Taupin. The reversion was performed at the funeral of Princess Diana and released on 13 September 1997 as a tribute to Diana, Princess Of Wales, with proceeds donated to Diana's charities.

Candle In The Wind '97 was pressed as a double A side and produced by The Beatles' producer George Martin.
