MIRACLE

Dynamite duo Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding previously teamed up for a Number 4 hit, 2012's I Need Your Love, and a Number 6 hit, 2014's Outside. But Miracle bested them both by reaching Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart. Of course, neither artist is a stranger to the top spot: Miracle became the fourth Number 1 for Ellie and 11th for Calvin.
Musically, it's a massive trance anthem inspired by the thumping Eurodance hits that both musicians grew up with. With a sound that's fresh and retro at the same time, it's one of 2023's defining dance-pop songs and an undeniable trend-setter. "One of my likes is an Ellie Goulding angelic vocal. One of a kind. You’re not going to get this from anyone else," Calvin said when the song dropped – and it’s hard to disagree.
