Beyonce surprise-released My House on 1 December 2023, her first new solo material since summer 2022's chart-topping Renaissance album.

Co-written and co-produced with The-Dream, infectious rap/house track My House was released as a single to promote concert film Renaissance: A Film By Beyonce as it opened in cinemas. The song features in the credits of the film which showcases Bey's record-breaking Renaissance World Tour.

The surprise release of My House on Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records comes exactly ten years after Beyonce changed the game and set the standard for  unusual blockbusting album drops with her eponymous fifth studio album Beyonce which landed without pre-announcement on 13 December 2013 and became a global event in its own right.
