Doomsday Blue is a song by Irish alt-pop singer Bambie Thug, and their entry into the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 as Ireland's representative.
Written by Bambie Thug, Cassyette, Sam Matlock and the song's producer, Tylr Rydr, Doomsday Blue is an evocative theatrical goth-pop track, leaning much more towards witch's sabbath than traditional Eurovision entry.
But sometimes, the more striking the song and vision the better - Bambie Thug became the first Irish act to qualify for the Eurovision Grand Final in 2018, when they triumphed in the first semi-final with Doomsday Blue.
