Blending electronic beats, metal riffs, and pop elements, RATATATA was written by Kevin Ratajczak, Nico Sallach, Pascal Schillo, Daniel Haniß & 渡辺未来 (Miki Watanabe) and produced by Kevin Ratajczak, Nico Sallach, Pascal Schillo & KOBAMETAL.

On the making of the song, Electric Callboy enthused: “Working with BABYMETAL was so much fun. We joined our creative forces and, in the end, we brought together the best of both worlds. We love RATATATA!”
