RAVING IN THE STUDIO

Raving In The Studio sees rapper Aitch stepping into the drum n bass arena for the first time with Mancunian producer Bou, independently released via NQ Records on 17 January 2025. 

The track is built around a sample of Gorillaz’s 2005 Number 2 hit Feel Good Inc and features Aitch's signature wordplay over Bou’s slice of exhilarating drum n bass.

Raving In The Studio coincides with the 20th anniversary of the original Gorillaz release with revered US hip hop group De La Soul, and has received Damon Albarn’s blessing.

A union between two Manchester powerhouses at the forefront of their respective genres, Aitch and Bou created their crossover track at NQ House - a state-of-the-art creative hub based in Manchester. The pair teased their collaboration during the producer’s electrifying DNB All Stars set at The Warehouse Project, which lends itself to the plot of the accompanying music video, directed by Kelvin Jones. The song also garnered airtime during the World Championship fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury. 

Raving In The Studio arrived off the back of Aitch’s collaborations with London rappers Potter Payper (DND) and Avelino (Scary Movie), while influential Manchester DJ/producer and Gossip label boss Bou was enlisted by Chase & Status on their 2023 platinum-certified smash Baddadan.
