Keen to see the Aussie rock outfit at Number 1 50 years after the band’s formation, members of AC/DC Facebook fan page AC/DC We Salute You have selected the group’s Number 13-peaking 1990 single Thunderstruck in their campaign to reach the top spot this Christmas. 

In 2013, a similar campaign saw fans take the group’s 1979 track Highway to Hell to Number 4 on the Official Christmas Singles Chart, in what earned the song a brand-new UK chart peak. Can Thunderstruck go even higher?
