Official Charts Peak: 1Just Dance was Lady Gaga's breakthrough track and was released in 2009 in the UK, following a release the year before in the US.
Produced by Akon, the Locked Up star helped get Gaga signed after they worked together on a songwriting session.
The track features her then labelmate Colby O'Donis. We're not sure where he is now.

Album: HitMixes
Year: 2009
Official Charts Peak: N/AThose lucky Canadians! HitMixes was an exclusive remix album just for Canada and had physical packaging made of paper, apparently. We assume this is will be an eBay flog in years to come.
Single: Vanity
Year: 2008
Official Charts Peak: N/AVanity is a bit off one. Only available on the US' advance promo edition of The Fame, the track was cut from all future versions of the album. It was then released as an exclusive download on music website Rhapsody. We know... us neither.
Single: Christmas Tree
Year: 2009
Official Charts Peak: N/AMother Monster's first trek into the realm of Christmas releases was this forgotten gem.
Released between the US and UK releases of Just Dance, it actually came before Gaga's first Number 1 on our side of the pond. We first got access to it a year later as part of a free download season from Amazon.
Single: Chillin (Wale ft. Lady Gaga)
Year: 2009
Official Charts Peak: 12Gaga's first of two features on tracks in 2009 came in the form of Chillin by Wale, a track Gaga helped write. Wale originally wanted either Nelly Furtado or Gwen Stefani to feature, but opted for Gaga once Just Dance and Poker Face skyrocketed to the top of the charts. Funny that, eh?

Year: 2009
Official Charts Peak: 58One of Beyonce's many (many) singles from her I Am... Sasha Fierce album was Video Phone, the remix of which featured vocals from Gaga, who is also in the video for the single. This turned out to not be the last meeting between these two, or their last collab about phones...

Single: Telephone (ft. Beyonce)
Year: 2010
Official Charts Peak: 1What do you get if you have a woman with Coca Cola cans in her hair rock up in a prison that looks like the best alternate universe version of Bad Girls ever? That's right, Gaga's video for Telephone.
The fantastic 10 minute visual coupled with guest vocals from Bey took Telephone to the Top of the Official Singles Chart, marking the last time Gaga hit the summit in the UK.
Single: Alejandro
Year: 2010
Official Charts Peak: 7DON'T CALL MY NAME, DON'T CALL MY NAME!
Channeling ABBA and Ace of Base, Gaga turned heads with Alejandro thanks to its musical style and jaw-dropping music video. The song became her sixth Top 10 single in the UK.
Single: Dance In The Dark
Year: 2010
Official Charts Peak: 89A digital-only release back in 2010, Dance In The Dark was originally meant to be the third single from The Fame Monster, but a dispute between Gaga and Interscope led to Alejandro being chosen instead.
When it finally looked like DITD was to get an official release, its music video never appeared and it wasn't sent to radio in most countries. At least it got cover art. Silver linings.
Album: The Fame Monster
Year: 2009
Official Charts Peak: 1Not happy with releasing one album in the UK in 2009, Gaga released another. The Fame Monster is an EP that topped the charts by itself, but is also packaged as an add-on to The Fame.
Despite not being singles, 4 of the 5 album tracks that were not officially released reached the UK's Top 100. Teeth being left out makes us sad.
Although not officially classed as a second studio album, it wouldn't be long before that arrived...

Album: The Singles
Year: 2010

Single: Judas
Year: 2011

Single: You and I
Year: 2011
Official Charts Peak: 23You and I saw Gaga go all country on us. Her male alter-ego Jo Calderone reemerged to promote the single, posing for the cover art and appearing in the video too.
Interestingly, the cover art for You and I matches the styling of single covers released from The Fame Monster, and we're not sure why. That's Gaga for you.
Single: Marry The Night
Year: 2011
Official Charts Peak: 16Marry The Night was the final single taken from Born This Way and was accompanied by her longest video to date. There are dance routines and explosions aplenty in the video, and Gaga pours cereal on herself. As you do.

Single: Do What U Want (ft. R Kelly)
Year: 2013
Official Charts Peak: 9Despite not having an official video, Do What U Want was a dream collaboration between Lady Gaga and R Kelly, resulting in a fantastic chart result.
The song is hailed as one of ARTPOP's most creative; while the paparazzi can have all of the photos of Gaga's body they could ever want, they'll never tap into her mind.
Single: Venus
Year: 2013
Official Charts Peak: 76Venus was announced as a single and then shelved, only to then be given the spotlight once more in a double music video with G.U.Y. The confusing situation regarding its release led the promo single to chart at 76.
Single: Dope
Year: 2013
Official Charts Peak: N/AThe second promotional single from ARTPOP, Dope failed to chart in the UK. It did however get some unforgettable cover art, so we just had to include it on our list.
Single: G.U.Y
Year: 2014
Official Charts Peak: N/AA delayed music video and problems with Gaga's creative team Haus of Gaga led to a less than impactful release for G.U.Y. Despite one of her most ambitious ever videos, the song failed to chart in the UK and is her lowest charting US single.
