I'm fed up of reign in now by sam fender ft olivia dean at number one but I do think hugel move to the sun will finally get to number one next week. 

I'm really surprised sonny fodera ft becky Hill say something isn't higher in the chart. It's a such good song. On my opinion  it should  be least in the top 30 of the chart. Streaming on Spotify isn't good. If people want higher in the chart then needs streamed lots of times. It's going up uk I tunes chart now. Hopefully next week it will go much higher in the chart.  

I can see more songs off alex Warren new album entering in  the top 40 

Whilst I love some of the entries in this week's chart (R.I.P Dolly Parton) I was looking through some you tubes and have been listening to a song by a guy called Daniel Hanson called Let me be.  There are some quite good dance videos as well.  It sounds like a nice summer tune.

I wish Rein Me In had disappeared and not gorgeous Dolly :_(

People seem to be saying that rein me in will be going on acr next week but honestly I think it already is. AI seems to say that its declined in numbers for 5 weeks straight and is somehow still at #1. Its on the way out I'm sure (and honestly, unpopular opinion, I'm disappointed. Out of all the songs to be at #1 for a really long time its pretty ok.) 

When it is inevitably replaced I'm 100% behind great expectation being number 1. One of the most underrated songs and artists that's crept up the charts for a while and deserves it entirely. Sienna spiro's music is so PURE (no pun intended) and natural sounding. But if we don't get Si at #1 like she deserves, I'd also be happy with boston or even the cure to make a resurgence. I'm surprised the cure has avoided acr so much whereas stupid song (which was a #1 btw) has been hit really hard by acr. This sounds out there but I have a feeling that my body isn't ready (at #27) could blow up and come close to #1. Again, sombra is a deserving and natural-instrument using artist who really deserves a #1.

What do you guys think?

Well I was checking rein me in's streaming numbers. It was climbing back up towards avoiding acr again but I am sure that dolly Parton's death prevented that. So that is an extra thanks towards her 🫡.

Sad it had to take the death of an legendary artist to get rein me in onto acr 😢 

Which Dolly song should hit top spot next week ?

Unpopular opinion here but does anyone even read the film chart? Isn't is place supposed to be all about. Oh i don't know MUSIC?

'Islands In The Stream'  only shows the run from 2007. it was number 7 back in 1984

I wonder how many dolly Parton songs would be in the Ee top 40 since their data lock is like 11:59 pm Saturday and no 3 song rule there. 

Once again, "Movin' To The Sun" will be another song stuck at #2 and will peak at #2 :( And, what is the reason "Training Season" has re-entered? 🤔

I definitely think Dua Lipa has better singles, but seeing her in the chart is always a breath of fresh air!

R.I.P. to the one and only Dolly Parton. ❤️

Dolly was so much more than a country music legend — she was a phenomenal songwriter, performer, storyteller and an inspiration to generations of people around the world. Her music has brought joy, comfort, strength and a little bit of sparkle to so many lives.

And what a wonderful way to celebrate her incredible legacy on the UK charts. Seeing “9 to 5” finally make the Top 40 after all these years and at number #12 as well having originally peaked at number #47 in 1981 is something I’m absolutely delighted about. A song that has been loved for decades finally getting the chart recognition it deserved feels incredibly special. And seeing “Jolene” back in the Top 10 and at number #9 is just absolutely wonderful — that timeless song proving once again that Dolly’s music never goes out of style.

Dolly may be gone, but her voice, her songs, her humor, her kindness and her extraordinary legacy will live on forever. Thank you, Dolly, for giving the world so much music, so much love and so much joy.

Rest in peace, Queen of Country. You truly were one of a kind and my thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends and many fans at this difficult time 🪽🕊️💕🌹🎶🪽.

Sorry but "Movin' to the sun" is a terrible song. "Choosin' texas" or "Boston" should get no.1 instead but we all know that "jolene" no.1 next week

Please tell that rein me in is onto acr next week. If it has managed to avoid it again then it may need to be looked into for the possibility of foul play.

Amazing to see ‘Expectations’ finally debut! For as much as I love Olivia’s album, this is easily one of the best tracks on it and the hook is so anthemic. The potential for it as a single is absolutely huge.

What shocks me is that ‘9 To 5’ never made the Top 40 before today. Its previous peak was #47, which just goes to show that you don’t necessarily need a strong chart position or chart run to have a classic.

Also, I KNEW Dolly was gonna be on the charts

RIP Dolly. She was one of the most iconic country singers ever whose influence has lived on through generations. Not only that, but she was a kind and loving person with an admirable work ethic too.
