ACR stands for "Accelerated Chart Ratio", where if a song has been in the chart for at least 10 weeks & loses streaming for three consecutive weeks, the number of streams for it that count towards any subsequent charts are halved.

Hence, this is why you see most songs take massive drops after 10-13 weeks on the chart, unless they're still selling incredibly well!

Yeah, so like Billboard have recurrent rules, we have ACR! That being said, that means songs like 'Perfect' & 'Mr Brightside' literally stick around forever in our charts, but they wouldn't in yours.

I actually don't know why Ella Henderson wasn't credited on 'Lighter', but my rating for the song would be a 9/10 too! :D

Billboard's recurrent rules mean that songs are removed from the chart if...

1) They have been on the Hot 100 for more than 20 weeks & are charting below #50.

2) They have been on the Hot 100 for more than 52 weeks & are charting below #25.

Exceptions are when a song gains in performance in the week it's due to go recurrent, but it'll be removed as soon as it declines!

A song can still re-enter if it is recurrent, but it must satisfy both conditions stated above! Plus, radio airplay also counts towards to the Hot 100, rather than just sales & streaming (which I personally disagree with).

There tends to be a lot more EDM & pop in the UK charts than there is in the US, but also far less country & reggaeton, haha.

Maybe if she performs "Hallucinate" somewhere in the UK in England like on a tv show on ITV or BBC then I am sure it will boost sales and streams up which will probably be a good thing to do. I am sure she knows that this song needs more promotion. I mean there was a lot of promotion on that song anyway so a little bit more promotion won't hurt and maybe it could have a rebound of a new peak.

Airplay from Radio 1! While radio doesn't directly affects the chart, it will encourage people to go out & buy or stream the song, which will influence the song's position (usually, it'll push it up the chart a lot!). :/

No, it doesn't count as streaming. That has to be through a platform other than the radio or stores where you can buy a song!
