Yes it does exist, just you're not bothering to serve me the page. You're purposely redirecting me to another page on your site instead of loading the one I'm asking for. Not slowly timing out but instantly directing me to that "no longer exists" page.

Plus I've picked an archived chart then gone forward and you've had a big moan of taking me to the current date and saying it doesn't exist, when I went forward a chart from a date in 1959 or whenever it was.

i’m actually kinda addicted to bass boosted versions of edm songs! it’s not a case of distortion, just a club feel.

I... am extremely let down here.

I think it's very apparent that the 'Head & Heart' vs 'Wap' debate on Discord was blown completely out of proportion, so it absolutely disgusts me to see the finger still being pointed instead of just moving the on & accepting the result, whether it's what you wanted or not!

Seriously, this so-called "war" is being entirely based on just ONE comment that just ONE person made (who sincerely apologised immediately afterwards & said they didn't mean it), but apparently "everyone" is to blame.

That's called generalisation! Or, to put it another way, you're basing an entire group purely based on an individual's behaviour. For example, I met a mad Iggy Azalea fan accusing me of having no knowledge of music when I said 'Black Widow' didn't age well, but I'm not going to turn around & say; "All Iggy Azalea fans are bullies.", based on only that occasion. I know this is just a music example, but it really concerns me that some people here might actually do this in real life!

All I said was that I wanted 'Head & Heart' to be #1 today! The number of times I was bombarded with "NO!" or "STREAM WAPPP" since yesterday is unlike anything I've ever seen on Discord or Disqus.

These are mainly the same people who have been praising & writing wonderful comments about my reviews that I put so much time & effort into every week without fail since April 2016, so what's so different about this particular chart?! I don't care about the occasionally troll lashing out at me for me not supporting a song they liked, but for certainly regulars on this forum to be doing that... yeah, I'll be honest, it's really ruined my evening! :/

Nothing I've done on here has changed since I joined OCC! I'm trying my best to give insightful & honest opinions of songs. They're not going to be same as yours... it is impossible to agree on everything, but there are ways of saying that rather than spamming me & laughing in my face when a song I wasn't rooting for #1 gets it! I'm sorry, but that's so immature.

In fact, you know what, I'm not sorry, because I've got nothing to be sorry for! That's what these two forums are about; to share what we think of the music in the charts & have a general relaxed conversation about it. If you can't take a different opinion to your own without mocking other people for it, then maybe this site isn't the right place for you!

To those of you who actually can have a civil debate, thank you so much! You're making OCC a very interesting & friendly community, which is the reason why I have always been proud to be an active member here. :)

Looking back through this, I really hate ranting, but if it's going to mean people thinking twice before they hit "send", then for the sake of absolutely all users who visit this thread, then I'm sure it's worth it!

Please only talk to me from now on if you can respect all music tastes, otherwise, you're probably just wasting your time.

WEEKLY CHART REVIEW (04/09/2020 - 10/09/2020)

🔴 (Negative)

1) I didn’t think I’d be doing this, but yeah, ‘Wap’ going to #1 is a negative point to me! I base which section I put these points on at the time of the review & right now, I’m honestly feeling really down about it. Seriously, there was a fairly heated debate on Discord last night over this song, causing one of my closest chart friends to temporarily leave the server… & all for a song that’s literally just about women’s genitalia to be the most popular song of the week? That’s disgusting! I mean, congratulations to Megan Thee Stallion at least (as she was able to provide two really impressive verses), but Cardi B adds nothing here despite this being her own song. Honestly, looking back through 2020, this might be my least favourite #1 of the year so far! :/

2) ‘Head & Heart’ falling was always going to , because it’s still on constant replay for me! The even worse part is that it might be heading for ACR next week, so it doesn’t look like it’ll ever reclaim the top spot. Still, I’m happy that this became the first original EDM #1 since October 2018!

3) Why is ‘Take You Dancing’ still moving up?! It’s both creepy & annoying.

4) BLACKPINK released their second major disappointment of the year! This one frustrates me even more than ‘How You Like That’, because at least that song had a catchy ending despite the continued annoying vocals. Also, Selena Gomez, you don’t need to lower yourself to your ex’s level by making a Part 2 of ‘Yummy’! It shocks me that this is the same group who made ‘Sour Candy’ & ‘Kiss & Make Up’. They are so much better than this garbage!

5) Taylor Swift drops out of the Top 40 on the singles chart & she’s also out of the Top 5 on the albums chart! I mean, I know the competition always starts to pick up at the beginning of autumn & she had a good run on the latter chart, but still, ‘Folklore’ deserves better.

🟠 (Mixed)

1) On one hand, I hate that BTS have fallen out of the Top 10 after just one week! On the other hand, I expected them to crash a lot further & they’re still selling well, so I guess ‘Dynamite’ might still have a chance at the Chart Of The Year after all.

2) This new Calvin Harris song might have to grow on me, partly because of how much different than usual it sounds coming from him! The Weeknd sounds amazing over this 80’s style production though, but then again, when hasn’t he?

3) Following a Twitter campaign, Nines just about sneaks in his first #1 album! I have no real opinion on him nor Metallica, so I guess I can take this, although seeing The Killers drop about 90% in overall performance from last week isn’t a promising sign. I also expected Katy Perry to debut a bit higher too, but it was an incredibly busy week!

🟢 (Positive)

1) ‘Mood’ got another huge streaming boost from TikTok to land inside the Top 5! Realistically, this song is looking the most likely to be the next new #1 & given that it’s already a personal highlight of this year in trap music for me, I’m certainly okay with that.

2) ‘Looking For Me’ is showing signs of possibly breaking the Top 10 next week! I’ve thought it was a banger from the moment I heard it, so it totally deserves to get there.

3) ‘Midnight Sky’ looks like it might stay fairly stable! I expect this to be absolutely massive on the radio too.

4) ‘Tick Tock’ was the highest climber of the week, following a considerable rise in all metrics. It might’ve lost a lot of plays for me since it debuted, but I’m still so happy to Clean Bandit back in the charts!

5) ‘You Broke Me First’ jumped up nine places! Tate McRae has a lot of potential going forward if she keeps making songs like this.

6) ‘Blinding Lights’ got a small rebound, proving that even ACR can’t kill a hit as amazing as this one!

7) ‘Rain On Me’ actually rebounded this week! Such a pleasant surprise given that I predicted it would fall out of the Top 40 last week, haha.

Cardi B becomes the third female rapper to have a #1 in the UK as a lead artist. The previous two were Lil Kim in 2001 with Lady Marmalade and Nicki Minaj in 2014 with Bang Bang

Really wanted Head & Heart to stay at number 1 but Wap has made history by becoming the first women duo to be number 1. hopefully mood can dethrone it next week.
