At last, 32 years after their debut release, The Trashcan Sinatras finally make it to the album charts. Massively underrated Scottish band. Only Number 77, but I'll take that.

"St. Jude" by The Courteeners has actually been re-released with a 15th anniversary edition therefore it's actually a new entry not a re-entry

You know that, I know know that, and the dickheads who run the OC know it too, but they have their policy of inconsistency to stick to. They treated the Revolver special edition as a re-entry but somehow ignored it's previous 7 weeks at #1 which was a new 'variant' - presumably a compromise in an attempt to keep everyone happy.

The album charts are quite random these days with a few re entries / climbers that you wouldn't expect to see.

"Keep 'em peeled" as someone used to say - ANYTHING can appear in the charts - even an album that doesn't actually exist (cite: Kenny Rogers "ALL THE HITS & ALL NEW LOVE SONGS: GREATEST HITS" that appeared as a re-entry at #6 in the chart for 1 week in March 2020 and then vanished completely, but which never actually existed).
