After the congrats to Sir Cliff Richard, attention needs to be returned to king Michael Jackson. It is nice to see the legend return to claim his solid gold crown. As we count the hours into the brand new year, we must band together to place Michael at the top of the album charts once again. There are so many artists today that owe Michael props for setting the standards of excellence in creating superior pop music and inventing modern dance grooves. Sony must employ their promotional team to pull the new 40th anniversary edition of "Thriller" to outstanding sales as New Year celebrations reach millions of Michael Jackson soldiers, fighting for justice for our man. With a new purpose, we can repeat and expand the success that was given to Cliff Richard for the one and only king of pop, rock and soul, Michael Jackson. With powerful force of explosive sales, the UK charts must count the outstanding new numbers for the discs, and reinstate our king to the record books.

So nice to see The Smiths back in the Top 100!

Dear OCC, it doesn't reflect well that you can't get the correct album cover for an album in the race for number one. Cliff's album has been available for 4 weeks....and this was the second time it has been in the race for number one.

You have to work extra harder to get into the UK Album Charts and this is exactly what Cliff Richard has done this year. He is past his best but tries harder.

Sir Cliff Richard has the top selling holiday album of the year. Let those snow bells ring! The album actually gained sales this week. Congrats to the man that needs no introduction. Legend.
Damián
Sadly he couldnt get the number one spot!!!

Cliff did make it all the way to number one in Scotland with his fantastic Christmas gift. So there was that satisfaction. Still, it is quite remarkable knowing that he recorded the top selling new Christmas album of the year. Of course, with the booming retail present giving holiday over, we can look forward to the brand new year of 2023. Cliff is surely to brighten up the charts with some new upcoming releases that we can cherish. Even though Cliff Richard failed to reach number one in the UK, number two is still vastly impressive. Sony should take a hint from Cliff's promotional team, and do the same for Michael Jackson. There is no doubt in my mind, Cliff has risen to the occasion.
