Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber's summer smash Despacito has been Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart for nine weeks now; but could another Spanglish remix soon be replacing it at the top?

X Factor winner Matt Terry has announced his new single, a remix of Súbeme La Radio by Enrique Iglesias.

The new version of the track, which translates to 'beam me up radio', still features Enrique Iglesias as well as Sean Paul. The original was released back in February and features Cuban singer Descemer Bueno and reggaeton duo Zion & Lennox.

Matt announced news on Twitter, confirming it will be released this Friday (July 21).

Súbeme La Radio is Matt's first release since his X Factor winner's single When Christmas Comes Around, which peaked at Number 3 last December. The song was written by Ed Sheeran and was the first original X Factor winner's single since Shanye Ward's That's My Goal.

Matt faces strong competition from One Direction's Louis Tomlinson, who releases his new single Back To You ft. Bebe Rexha the same day. Check out the latest list of new releases here.

Matt Terry is unlikely to have another major hit as a solo artist, however teaming up with 2 "Giants" may change that model - however this original version is too similar to Despacito, but we shall see............
