How has Sienna Spiro's Die On This Hill fared on the Official Singles Chart?

Die On This Hill is competing for a place in the Top 40 this Friday (October 17).  It has already climbed to Number 3 on this week's Official Trending Chart.

Why is Die On This Hill by Sienna Spiro so popular?

Die on This Hill is a timeless-sounding piano ballad that really shows off Sienna's soulful and emotionally resonant vocals. In interviews, she's hailed jazz greats such as Etta James and Frank Sinatra as a formative influence.

She says of the inspiration behind Die On This Hill, which she co-wrote with Michael Pollack and Omer Fedi: "This song is about stubborn love – the kind that makes you stay when you know you should leave.”

Die On This Hill feels like a classic case of 'the right song at the right time'. Sienna has built her profile over the last 18 months with a steady stream of new singles and some prime support slots.  She joined Teddy Swims on his US tour, performed at RAYE's All Points East takeover this summer, and is currently opening for Sam Smith at their New York residency.

She has also been booked to perform on Later… With Jools Holland on November 9, so expect her career trajectory to continue pointing upwards.
