They may have been around for twenty years, but Westlife are still managing to score a few firsts!

Following the band's successful Twenty Tour this summer, Westlife have announced a special headline show in 2020, this time taking to the stage of the iconic Wembley Stadium. And, incredibly, they've never performed there before!

The band revealed the news on Zoe Ball's Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2, and have said headlining Wembley Stadium is a dream come true for all of them.

"This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and we’re incredibly excited for a show which will be different and more spectacular than anything we’ve ever done before. This will be our biggest ever concert in the UK,” say the band.

They won't be alone, however: James Morrison and All Saints will be supporting at the gig, happening on Saturday 22 August 2020.

Westlife's eleventh studio album Spectrum is out Friday 15 November and is co-written by Ed Sheeran. Westlife have scored an incredible 14 Number 1 singles and seven chart-toppers on the Official Albums Chart.

Tickets for the Wembley Stadium concert go on sale Friday 20 September at 9am. See Westlife's chart history in their archive
