Watch Milky Chance perform Down By The River live

For those playing catch-up, German folk/rock duo Milky Chance took the world by storm last year with their laidback but supremely addictive debut single Stolen Dance.

The track entered the Top 5 in over 12 countries, has over 86 million views on YouTube and even managed to make a significant dent on the US singles chart, where it has sold over 500,000 copies.

As these things tend to go, the song’s UK release was significantly behind the rest of the world; but that hasn’t stopped them finding success. Stolen Dance peaked at Number 24 on the Official Singles Chart in July this year and their new single Down By The River is currently scaling the chart.

They’re touring the UK in February next year, of which they’ve just added a second London date at Shepherd’s Bush Empire on February 9.

Unsurprisingly, their brand of singalong folk comes into its own in a live setting, which you can see in this video of them performing Down By The River live at London’s KOKO, which premieres below:
