Vevo has unveiled its new home today (July 15) as the video hosting service aims to create a more "social" experience for its users.

Users are now able to create their own profile either on its desktop website or on its rebooted app that will give them a more personalised and tailored experience.

The site now allows you to create a username, bio, select a photo, and allow your network to see your selections of artists and videos along with playlists that are now easier to create and edit.

As well as an improved player, the feed of video and content is now more personalised to your preferences, based on genres and artists you like when signing up.

Along with their already-successful new music discovery channels 'LIFT' and 'dscvr', Vevo are also launching the new 'Vevo Hosts', which sees their presenters Maya Jama, Yasmin Evans and Phil Taggart fronting new content on the site.

Users can also follow their friends and newly-appointed Vevo Curators, which includes OfficialCharts.com's Editor Rob Copsey. You can check it all out on Vevo.com

The relaunch is the first in a wave of new features from Vevo rolling out across the rest of year, as it aims to move further into TV and live events.
