Usher's Official Top 40 biggest songs in the UK
The pop-R&B king has plenty of hits to choose from when he plays next year's Super Bowl halftime show
It's official: the one and only Usher will headline next year’s Super Bowl halftime show.
The pop-R&B king will follow in the footsteps of superstars including Beyoncé, Madonna, Coldplay, Prince and Jennifer Lopez when he takes to the stage at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on 11th February 2024.
"It's an honour of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list," Usher said in a statement. "I can't wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before."
Better believe it.

Usher has also announced that he will release his ninth studio album, Coming Home, on the same day as his Super Bowl show. It will be his first solo album since 2016's Hard II Love, which peaked at Number 7 on the Official Albums Chart.
Of course, Usher already has plenty of past smashes to work into his halftime show, including 18 UK Top Ten hits ranging from lovelorn R&B ballads to thumping club bangers. Before we look at Usher's Official Top 40 biggest tracks in the UK, let's take a closer look at his Top 5.
5. U Remind Me
Released: 2004
Official Chart peak: 4
UK chart units: 869,000
This midtempo R&B bop was a highlight from Usher's third album, 8701, which peaked at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart in 2001. Co-produced by Janet Jackson collaborators Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, U Remind Me had a glossy video that nodded to Usher's past relationships and won him a Grammy for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance.
4. Without You (with David Guetta)
Released: 2011
Official Chart peak: 6
UK chart units: 920,000
Usher joined forces with EDM king David Guetta for this epic sad-banger about (sob) the one that got away. Co-written by British artist Taio Cruz, the lyrics tip a wink to U2's rock classic With or Without You, allowing Usher to deliver one of his most emotive and anthemic vocal performances.
3. DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love (feat. Pitbull)
Released: 2010
Official Chart peak: 7
UK chart units: 1,084,000
Usher went full-on Europop with this thumping dance track from his 2010 EP Versus. Produced by Swedish hitmaker Max Martin, DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love underlined Usher's ability to move with the times a full 17 years after he released his debut single, 1993's Call Me a Mack.
2. OMG (feat. will.i.am)
Released: 2010
Official Chart peak: 1
UK chart units: 1,195,000
Written and produced by will.i.am, who also features on the track, OMG saw Usher embrace the auto-tuned electropop sound that dominated the charts in the late 2000s and early 2010s. It was a subtle sonic reinvention that paid off by becoming his third (and to date, most recent) Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart. OMG has the most downloads of any of Usher’s tracks in the UK, with 804.6k.
1. Yeah (feat. Lil Jon and Ludacris)
Released: 2004
Official Chart peak: 1
UK chart units: 1,904,000
Yeahhh! Okay! This song's producer and featured artist Lil Jon dubbed its sound "crunk&B" – a fusion of contemporary R&B and hip-hop's crunk subgenre, which emerged from Memphis, Tennessee in the early 1990s. Released as the lead single from Usher's fourth album Confessions, it became an era-defining song and Usher's first Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart. And it still absolutely slaps nearly 20 years later.
As far as its sales go, Yeah has racked up 1.9 million chart units, including 303k physical copies and 353k downloads. At time of writing, its streaming figures stand at 148 million – 19.7m of these in 2023 alone.
