BLACKPINK's ROSÉ and Bruno Mars top this week's Official Trending Chart with brand-new team-up APT.
The track, which draws inspiration from a popular Korean drinking game known as the 'apartment game' and repeats the word 'apartment' in typical Korean style ('apateu'), looks set to become ROSÉ's highest-charting single in the UK to date. The first track lifted from her upcoming debut solo album rosie, it's expected to secure a Top 10 placing on Friday (6).
Other new entries inside the Trending Top 10 come courtesy of Morgan Wallen's Love Somebody (5), Gracie Abrams' The Secret of Us deluxe edition cut That's So True (6), JADE's slinky Fantasy (7), Kylie Minogue's Tension II single Lights Camera Action (8) and Wizkid ft. Brent Faiyaz's Piece of My Heart (9). Chrystal's The Days make its Trending Chart debut this week, too (11).
Following the tragic news of his death last Wednesday, October 16, One Direction star Liam Payne's final solo single Teardrops is at Number 13 on this week's Trending Chart. The track currently looks to make its Official Trending Chart debut this Friday (66).
Elsewhere, we see new entries from RAYE's Oscar Winning Tears. (14), Bon Iver's S P E Y S I D E (15) and THINGS BEHIND THINGS BEHIND THINGS (17) and Royel Otis's take on The Cranberries' Linger (19).
The Official Trending Chart is based on the first four sales days of each chart week (that's Friday to Monday) and ranks those songs showing week-on-week growth on the Official Top 100 Singles Chart, limited to two tracks per artist.
