Chase & Status and Stormzy claim the hottest Trending track in the UK this week with brand-new team-up BACKBONE.
Straight in at Number 1 on the Official Trending Chart, the song is also on track to top the Official Singles Chart this Friday (August 16), taking an early lead at the midweek mark. Should it hold on, it'd earn Chase & Status their first-ever UK Number 1 single, while possibly netting Stormzy a fourth.
Elsewhere, Sonny Fodera, Jazzy and D.O.D's Somedays reaches a new Trending peak (3), as does Teddy Swims' The Door (4).
As he releases his Lungu Boy LP, Asake's Travis Scott collab Active is a new entry at Number 14, while Shawn Mendes's comeback single Why Why Why lands at Number 16.
Katy Perry's latest 143 release LIFETIMES makes it debut at Number 19 and, finally, Gigi Perez's Sailor Song is new in at Number 20.
