Timber is the most listened to track in the UK this week!
Pitbull and Ke$ha’s Timber tops the Official Streaming Chart, while Vance Joy, Idina Menzel and Fuse ODG score new entries.
Pitbull and Ke$ha’s Timber is the most listened to track in the UK right now, knocking Pharrell Williams’ Happy (Number 2) off the top of the Official Streaming Chart.
The Official Streaming Chart was launched in May 2012, and is the only chart which ranks audio streams from both ad-funded and subscription streaming services in the UK.
There is no love lost between Mr Worldwide and Pharrell of course, after the US singer and producer retook the Number 1 spot on the sales-based Official Singles Chart on Sunday.
Avicii’s Hey Brother slides one place to Number 3, while Eminem and Rihanna’s The Monster (4) and Jason Derulo’s Trumpets complete this week’s Top 5.
New Entries and High Climbers
There are three new entries on this week’s Official Streaming Chart with Vance Joy leading the charge with Riptide. The Australian singer / songwriter, who’s known as James Keogh to his mum, is new in at Number 60.
Broadway actress and Glee star Idina Menzel debuts ten places behind with Let It Go, which is taken from the soundtrack to Disney’s new animated adventure, Frozen, while Fuse ODG enters at 73 with Million Pound Girl (Badder Than Bad).
Following their BRIT Awards nomination last week, US band Haim score this week’s highest climbing track – Forever soars a massive 36 places to Number 61. The 1975 are up 23 places to 67 with Sex, and Kid Ink and Chris Brown’s Show Me climbs 22 to Number 52.
