Tiesto and John Legend's Summer Nights gets MOTi's remix treatment - premiere

As the summer months come to an end, so does the annual flurry of dance bangers that take over dance floors and sound track our holidays. 

Fitting, then, is Dutch DJ MOTi's super relaxed twist to Summer Nights, Tiesto's new collaboration with John Legend. The two previously got together after Tiësto remixed John's iconic track All Of Me.

“I was really excited to work with John again following the huge success we had with my remix of All Of Me,” explained Tiësto. “For Summer Nights, we wanted to make a record that mixed the energy from my club tracks with his amazing soulful take on pop music and I’m really happy with the result.

"This record is definitely a bit of a musical departure for me but it was important to us that the end result really emphasize John’s funky soul vibe.”

Summer Nights could well be Tiesto's 10th Top 40 single should it rise higher than its current personal best of Number 60. Tiesto hit his Official Singles Chart personal best in 2014 with Wasted featuring Matthew Koma, which peaked at Number 3.
