Thomas Rhett's Die A Happy Man gets Tori Kelly remix treatment - premiere
We could die a happy website after hearing this dream country/pop collab.
Thomas Rhett is one of country music's biggest rising stars, and how better for him to continue to climb the ranks than to team with one of pop's hottest prospects?
Thomas released Die A Happy Man last September, with the song achieving 60 million Spotify streams and 60 million YouTube views. The track peaked at 21 on the Billboard Hot 100, Rhett's highest position yet.
Even more impressive is that DAHM was Number 1 on the Country Airplay charts for six weeks, the longest reign since Taylor Swift's Our Song in 2008. We're sure Taylor is fine with that though - Thomas is signed to the same label.
Branching out to a wider audience (and we're so glad he has), Thomas has teamed with Tori Kelly for the song's official remix. Listen to the premiere below.
We're sure the new version will do just as well as the original, which recently scooped the Country Music Award for Single Record of the Year and the Billboard Music Award for Best Country Song.
Thomas' second studio album Tangled Up is out now.
