The Vaccines announced as next The Record Club guests for sixth album Pick-Up Full of Pink Carnations
The British band worked with US producer Andrew Wells on the new project.
The Vaccines have been announced as the next guests on The Record Club with Bowers & Wilkins.
This week sees the release of the British band's sixth album, Pick-Up Full Of Pink Carnations, their follow-up to 2021's Back In Love City, which debuted and peaked at Number 5 on the Official Albums Chart.
The Vaccines will be joining The Record Club's host, BBC Radio 1 DJ Jess Iszatt, fom 5.30pm on Wednesday January 17 2024.
The first album by the band since the departure of drummer Freddie Cowan last year, it was created in collaboration with the US producer Andrew Wells, who has worked with the likes of Halsey and Bebe Rexha.
Since their debut in 2010, all five of The Vaccine's studio albums have reached the UK Top 10, with second LP Come of Age hitting Number 1 in 2012.
Fans who tune in live to the stream with their questions for The Vaccines will be in with a chance of getting their question answered by the band, but also winning a set of Bowers & Wilkins headphones.

Designed as a book club for albums, The Record Club in association with Bowers & Wilkins is a bi-monthly livestream, hosted by BBC Radio 1’s Jess Iszatt, on Facebook Live, Twitch, Twitter and YouTube Live every other Wednesday. The Record Club is also now available to watch/listen back in full as a podcast on Spotify.
Fans are encouraged to order the selected album from their favourite local record shop either in-store or on home delivery, listen to it in full, then tune into the broadcast armed with their questions for the artist and a chance to win a prize.
