Greatest Hits Radio has revealed the Top 300 most-streamed songs by UK artists from the 1970s, 80s and 90s.

Dubbed the 'Coronation Countdown', the full chart was revealed across the Bank Holiday weekend, with Oasis ultimately coming up victorious in the Number 1 position with Wonderwall as the most-streamed song from the chosen three decades.

The 1995 track -  which was famously denied a Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart by Robson & Jerome's I Believe - comes out on top with 312,670,000 streams.

Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody took second position (273,420,000 streams), while the band were also at Number 3 with Don't Stop Me Now (242,100,000 streams).

The rest of the Top 10 is populated by acts such as Fleetwood Mac, Toploader and ELO, while Kate Bush earns the honour of the highest placement for a solo female act, coming in at Number 11 with Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God).

Commenting on his win, Noel Gallagher said in a statement: "I met a guy going into Waitrose the other day, an Irish fella, who grabbed me and said ‘What was that song that you and your brother did all those years ago?  I thought, let me throw a dart in the dark here, and said ‘Was it Wonderwall?’ He said ‘That’s it! Wonderwall! I love that song. I didn’t care for much else of it though...’

"But do you know what when they do these charts it’s such a privilege as a songwriter to see your songs consistently in the Top Ten and it makes me feel pretty good. Thank you!"

Greatest Hits Radio’s Network Content Director, Andy Ashton added: "This special Coronation chart has provided a fascinating insight into which of the Greatest Hits from UK music royalty not only stand the test of time but continue to connect with new audiences through streaming.

"These legendary songs and the legends that made them live on at Greatest Hits Radio and in the hearts of our listeners as they are re-invented, re-released and re-loved all over again."

I bit of a stretch to call Fleetwood Mac, the Bee Gees and AC/DC UK artists.

I hope OCC publishes the full UK Top 300 list, because the radio show definitely missed out on revealing some of the positions during the broadcasts, unfortunately. The Greatest Hits Radio website doesn't have the UK only Top 300 list, it's a list of artists from numerous countries!

Greatest Hits Radio say Toto with Africa were at number 3, not Queen.

Yes. The OCC list is restricted to UK artists but the Greatest Hits Radio list is for all nationalities.
They include DANCING IN THE MOONLIGHT by TOPLOADER at number ten which was released on 21st February 2000.
And they have omitted all Christmas hits. No Mariah!!
