The Staves return to The Record Club to talk All Now, their first album as a duo
UK indie-folk duo The Staves make history on The Record Club tonight, as its first returning guests.
Just last week, the fifth record from Jessica and Camilla Staveley-Taylor, All Now debuted on the Official Albums Chart at Number 32, becoming the band's third consecutive UK Top 40 album, as well as the first for The Staves as a duo, since the departure of their sister Emily.
It certainly seems that the album's release and success was a hard-won victory for the sisters, with Camilla admitting All Now came to life following her battles with chronic illness and writer's block, as well as their first release on indie-label Communion, following their split with long-term major label, Atlantic.

Designed as a book club for albums, The Record Club in association with Bowers & Wilkins is a bi-monthly livestream, hosted by BBC Radio 1’s Jess Iszatt, on Facebook Live, Twitch, Twitter and YouTube Live every other Wednesday. The Record Club is also now available to watch back in full as a podcast on Spotify.
Fans are encouraged to order the selected album from their favourite local record shop either in-store or on home delivery, listen to it in full, then tune into the broadcast armed with their questions for the artist and a chance to win a prize.
