The Official Top 100 biggest songs in the UK not to have reached Number 1
As The Killers' Mr Brightside is crowned the UK's biggest song ever not to reach the top spot, Official Charts reveals the full Top 100
As The Killers' Mr. Brightside is named the UK’s official biggest single of all time yet to reach Number 1, Official Charts unveils the full Top 100 list for the first time ever.
The ultimate indie-pop crowd-pleaser, Mr. Brightside made its first appearance on the UK's Official Singles Chart in June 2004; peaking at a modest Number 10 before going on to become the country's biggest song of all time not to have hit the top spot (yet).
To take the title, Mr. Brightside has amassed combined UK sales and streams of 5.57 million (including 1.066m sales and 530,340,000 streams) to date, overtaking Oasis's 1995 classic Wonderwall to achieve the feat.
In fact, Mr. Brightside is the third biggest song of all time in the UK when sales and streams are combined.

Closing out the Top 10 is George Ezra's Budapest. Despite peaking at Number 3 on its release in 2013, the single makes Number 10 on this list.

very cool about tlc making the list! they were my ALL time fave female group on the billboard hot 100! i saw them on the hot 100 chart since their very first u.s. single 'ain't too proud to beg' was in the top 10 over here. no other female group can hold a candle to them, in my opinion, on the hot 100 chart, not even destiny's child. when tlc had a top 10 hit over here, it NEVER left the top 10! they were def. one of fave acts on that chart over the years.

Where's Tears For Fears - Everybody Wants to Rule The World??
a-ha should be much higher up the list when combined with its 1985's sales
How is Wizzard (certified 3x platinum) higher than a lot of songs ceriltified 4x platinum below it? If its 1973 sales havd been added, why haven't a-ha's?
