

The Beatles' 'final' single Now and Then is officially the best-selling vinyl single of the last 10 years, Official Charts confirms today.
The record 18th Number 1 single for the most successful and influential British music act of all time, Now and Then broke several UK chart records when it rocketed to the top of the Official Singles Chart in November 2023.
According to Official Charts Company data, in less than two years, Now And Then has sold over 35,000 vinyl single copies. Upon its ascent to Number 1, Now And Then shifted 19.4k vinyl singles copies in a week, setting a record for the fastest-selling vinyl single this century.
Coming in at Number 2, we have Manucinan hero Liam Gallagher with 2022 single All You're Dreaming Of. Alongside his work with Oasis and John Squire, Liam lands five placements in the Top 40, also including Oasis; Whatever (5) Just Another Rainbow with John Squire (8), Oasis' Supersonic (14) and solo single Wall of Glass (40).
Liam's brother Noel also scores a quintuple of singles placings; Whatever (5), Supersonic (14) and It's A Beautiful World (15), Riverman (37) and The Dying of the Light (38), all with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.
WHAM!'s blockbuster festive Last Classic (3) and New Order's Blue Monday (4) round out the Top 5. Also present in the Top 10 are; David Bowie's No Plan (6), Joy Divison's generation-defining classic Love Will Tear Us Apart (7), The Specials' Ghost Town (9) and The Smith's The Queen Is Dead (10), the title track of their 1986 magnum opus.
But it's not just your dad's favourite rock bands! Several of modern pop's biggest and brightest stars are also present; Billie Eilish's chart-topping Bond theme No Time To Die (11), Chappell Roan's synth-pop sapphic lament Good Luck, Babe! (12), Noah Kahan's Stick Season, the biggest single of 2024 (13), indie-rock trio boygenius's Black Hole (15), Ariana Grande's strut-ready yes, and? (28), Harry Styles's Watermelon Sugar (29) and Sabrina Carpenter's former Number 1, the frothy Espresso (32).
