The nation’s favourite JLS tracks revealed!
In the wake of the dramatic announcement last night that JLS are splitting up, OfficialCharts.com reveal JLS’ Top 10 biggest selling tracks.
In a message posted on their official website last night (Tuesday, April 23), JLS have announced that they are splitting up.
The London-based quartet, who shot to fame in 2008 after finishing second to Alexandra Burke in reality TV singing contest The X Factor, told fans that they have decided to “bring [their] time as a band to an end.”
"We wanted to make sure that you heard it from the four of us, that we have decided to bring our time as a band to an end,” wrote Aston Merrygold (25), Marvin Humes (28), Jonathan ‘JB’ Gill (26) and Oritse Williams (26) in a joint statement. "It has been the most incredible journey over the last six years and we have achieved more things than we could have ever dreamed possible. Thanks to all of you guys, your support, your dedication and your love, you have changed our lives forever and we wouldn't be where we are today without you.”
JLS went on to reveal that they are currently working on a Greatest Hits album, a farewell single, and will embark on one final tour.
"We are currently in the studio working on what will be our last album - Goodbye: The Greatest Hits,” they added. “We will be bringing you a new single later in the year to coincide with the album and the tour.
"Goodbye: The Greatest Hits Tour will be the last time that we will perform together as a [quartet] and we want to make sure that this tour is the best ever and that we end on a high! We will always remain brothers and friends and we will always be your boys."
One of the most successful X Factor acts

Meanwhile, their 2008 debut single, Beat Again, which peaked at Number 2 on the Official Singles Chart, is the eighth biggest selling debut single by an X Factor artist, with over 561,000 sold in the UK since its release.
