120+ acts have scored a Number 1 album in Ireland since 2010, but who has hit the top spot of the Official Irish Albums Chart the most this decade? Today, we're revealing for the first time which 19 acts have claimed three or more chart-topping albums in the last 10 years.

One Direction

All of Niall, Liam, Harry and Louis' studio albums - Up All Night (2011), Take Me Home (2012), Midnight Memories (2013), Four (2014) and Made in the A.M. (2015) - hit the top spot, meaning One Direction have the joint-most Number 1s this decade, with five.

After debuting at Number 3 in November 2011, the band's debut Up All Night finally reached Number 1 the following June, meaning they were the fastest to claim five Number 1 albums, doing it in three years and five months.

#ChartFact: Not limiting the list to credited artists only, when combining their solo careers and One Direction success, Niall Horan and Harry Styles have had six chart-toppers since 2010, more than any other people.

Nathan Carter

The soloist with the most Number 1 albums this decade so far is Nathan Carter. The country star has had four studio albums lead the Top 50 with Where I Wanna Be (2013), Beautiful Life (2015), Stayin' Up All Night (2016) and Living The Dream (2017). Nathan's The Wagon Wheel Show Live also bowed at Number 1 in 2014, one of only two live albums to top the chart this decade.

The Script

Much like One Direction, all of The Script's studio albums reached the peak of the Official Irish Albums Chart. Unlike 1D, all six of them debuted at Number 1. Five of them were released during this decade: Science and Faith (2010), #3 (2012), No Sound Without Silence (2014), Freedom Child (2017), and Sunsets & Full Moons (2019).

Glee Cast

Achieving four Number 1s in less than four months is unheard of, but the Glee Cast did just that in 2010. Starring the likes of Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Matthew Morrison, Glee: The Music, Volume 1 and Glee: The Music, Volume 2 reached the top spot in February and March, while May release Glee: The Music, Volume 3 Showstoppers was disposed from Number 1 by Glee: The Music, Journey to Regionals in June.

Bruce Springsteen

Bruce Springsteen has bossed the Official Irish Albums Chart this decade. The rock legend has also impacted the Number 1 position four times since 2010, and is the most recent act to achieve a quartet.

The Boss reached the summit with three studio albums Wrecking Ball (2012), High Hopes (2014) and Western Stars (2019), plus his 1995 Greatest Hits album rose to Number 1 for the first time in 2012 following his show at the RDS Arena in Dublin. Bruce held the Number 1 and Number 2 spots at the same time for two consecutive weeks that year.
