Taylor Swift's Evermore and Willow claim the highest new entries on this week's Official Irish Albums and Singles Charts
Taylor's new album makes a Top 3 debut, and she claims two Top 10 singles.
Congratulations to Taylor Swift who claims this week’s highest new entries on both the Official Irish Albums and Singles Charts.
Taylor’s surprise-released ninth studio album Evermore opens at Number 3, behind Dermot Kennedy’s Without Fear (1) and Bruce Springsteen’s Letter To You (2). Taylor’s sixth consecutive Top 3 album, Evermore was the most downloaded and streamed album of the week.
On the Official Irish Singles Chart, Evermore’s lead single Willow matches the placement of its parent album, going in at Number 3. Album cut Champagne Problems opens at Number 6, and HAIM collaboration No Body, No Crime lands at Number 11. In total, Taylor now has 38 Top 50 hits to her name.

Elsewhere on this week’s Official Irish Albums Chart, Johnny Cash’s orchestral album with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra titled Johnny Cash and the RPO rockets 16 places to a new peak of Number 5.
Dolly Parton’s festive album A Holly Dolly Christmas sleighs to a new high of Number 13, the climb of 14 spots is thanks to her appearance on The Late Late Show last Friday. A brand-new entry inside this week’s Top 20 is Kid Cudi’s seventh studio album Man on the Moon III: The Chosen at Number 17.
Finally, there’s a new peak at Number 26 for Neil Diamond and the London Symphony Orchestra’s Classic Diamonds.

UPDATED: Ireland's Official Top 50 biggest songs of 2020 so far
Tiesto’s latest single The Business continues to climb the Official Chart, rising three places to Number 4. The track is now Tiesto’s highest-charting single in Ireland in six years, since Red Lights topped out at Number 3 in 2014.
Irish DJ Shane Codd reaches a new peak of Number 23 with his breakthrough single Get Out My Head, while American rapper Kid Cudi takes out a new entry at Number 29 with Show Out, a collaboration with Skepta and the late Pop Smoke from his new album Man On The Moon III: The Chosen.
Finally, there’s a new peak for Miley Cyrus’ Plastic Hearts, which beats two places higher to Number 48.
