Taylor Swift's 1989 (Taylor's Version) The Vault song titles revealed
Taylor's foray into proper popstar territory arrives again this October
Taylor Swift has revealed the first of the additional tracks to be included in the release of 1989 (Taylor's Version), the latest in her series of re-recorded studio albums.
After Speak Now (Taylor's Version) became Taylor Swift's tenth UK Number 1 album earlier this year, her latest reworked record - a new take on her 2014 chart-topping LP 1989 - will arrive on October 27 2023.
Now, after asking fans to solve a series of puzzles online, Taylor has revealed the titles of previously-unreleased 'The Vault' songs; recorded during the original 1989 studio sessions. As well as the well-known tracks - including singles Shake It Off, Out of the Woods, Blank Space, Style and Bad Blood - fans can also look forward to:

In a statement posted to her socials after revealing the news during the last night of her Eras Tour shows in LA, Taylor said: "The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with such excitement to announce that my version of it will be out October 27th.
"To be perfectly honest, this is my most FAVORITE re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane. I can’t believe they were ever left behind. But not for long!"
Of course, 1989 saw Taylor find the perfect collaborators for her maximalist synth-pop vision in Swedish wizards Max Martin (who executive produced the entire record with her) and Shellback, who contributed to the bulk of the album's tracklist.
Eagle-eyed Swifties will have already noticed that Shellback, not Max, was involved with the tracks they created together for Red (Taylor's Version), but given how deeply linked the Swedish svengali was to 1989, it will be very interesting to see if he and Taylor will reunite to celebrate their greatest work together.
When it was originally released in 2014, 1989 became Taylor's second UK Number 1 album, after Red. It birthed a total of six UK Top 40 singles.
Even more impressive it's lead track, Shake It Off, last year became the latest (and given the dominance of streaming, possibly the last-ever) song to cross one-million pure sales in the UK. A fitting legacy for the super-charged tune that helped Taylor become the biggest pop star in the world.
1989 (Taylor's Version) arrives October 28 via EMI.
