Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department earns a ninth non-consecutive week at Number 1 on the UK’s Official Albums Chart.

Following a new Anthology Version released last week, TTPD earns its ninth week at the top with 79% of its sales made up of physical copies. It also claims Number 1 on the Official Vinyl Albums Chart

Meanwhile, up 13 places and dashing into the Top 5 is Michael Bublé’s Christmas (4) as the British public gear up for this year’s festivities.

This week’s highest new entry comes from the late rapper and singer-songwriter Juice Wrld, with his latest posthumous collection The Party Never Ends (5). It marks the rapper’s sixth UK Top 40 record in total, joining 2018’s Goodbye & Good Riddance (23), 2018’s Wrld On Drugs with Future (23), 2019’s Death Race For Love (12), 2020’s posthumous Number 1 Legends Never Die, and 2021’s Fighting Demons (8).

Irish post-punk band Fontaines D.C. see their Number 2 album Romance soar back up 15 places this week to Number 13, following their UK tour.

Further down, London rapper Potter Payper scores his sixth Top 40 collection – and third this year(!) – with Nightmare Before Christmas (30).

Finally, Lana Del Rey’s 2012 classic Born To Die rebounds back into the Top 40 (33), while Eminem also sees his Number 1 collection The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) bounce back into the Top 40 albums of the week (37).
