Taylor Swift dominates this week’s Official Irish Charts following the release of Red (Taylor’s Version).

The latest in the US star’s re-releases of her catalogue earns her a seventh Number 1 in Ireland, arriving just seven months after Fearless (Taylor’s Version) topped the chart in April.

The original version of Red peaked at Number 1 in October 2012. The entry extends Taylor’s stature as the woman with the most chart-topping albums in Ireland this millennium.

Two more new releases land in this week’s Top 10: Silk Sonic (aka Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak) enter at Number 5 with their collaborative album An Evening With Silk Sonic, and Irish icons The Chieftains’ land at Number 8 with their retrospective Chronicles – 60 Years Of, released to coincide with their farewell tour.

Outside the Top 10, Rod Stewart enters at Number 11 with his latest set The Tears Of Hercules, Nirvana’s Nevermind re-enters at Number 15 following a 30th anniversary reissue, and Ronan Keating is new at Number 20 with Songs From Home.

Further down, Damon Albarn lands at 24 with The Nearer The Fountain, More Pure The Stream Flows, British rockers Idles are new at 29 with Crawler, Kylie Minogue re-enters at 32 with the Guest List Edition of her latest album Disco, and boyband The Wanted are at 37 with Most Wanted – The Greatest Hits.
