Stormzy announces new single Superheroes, releases animated video
It's the sixth single to be taken from the Number 1 album Heavy Is The Head.
Stormzy has announced his new single Superheroes and released its animated video.
Directed by Taz Tron Delix, the music video celebrates black excellence, with Stormzy depicting fellow artists Dave and Little Simz as modern day superheroes.
In an accompanying video message detailing why he recorded the song, Stormzy addressed his fans to say: "I think it’s important that you guys understand how powerful you are.
"Despite the colour of your skin, despite where you come from, despite your religion, despite whatever it is that you feel may be holding you back; you are a Superhero. So, I wanted to make this video to inspire you guys, to let you know that the sky is the limit."
Superheroes will also be added to the BBC Radio 1 playlist from next week.
