Spice Girls' most popular songs in Ireland since their comeback announcement
Colours of the world! Every boy and every girl! Spice fever is in the air as the group (minus Victoria) gear up to launch their greatest hits reunion tour in Ireland on May 24.
Before you Holler at Croke Park, we reveal the Top 10 most popular Spice classics that you have been streaming since Emma, Geri, Mel B and Mel C confirmed they would be playing their first shows in Ireland for 21 years.
Number 1 had to Wannabe, right? The song that got us all boarding the Spice Bus, Wannabe was the first of four chart toppers on Irish soil for the girls. Since their comeback was announced in November, the song is proving their most popular by a considerable margin - it has been streamed 893,000 times on audio and video platforms.
Stop - which reached Number 3 on Official Irish Singles Chart - ranks second on 311,700 plays, while the Number 2-peaking Spice Up Your Life rounds out the Top 3 on 217,000.
The Top 10 features all but one of Spice Girls' ten consecutive Top 5 hits; double A-side Who Do You Think You Are/Mama are separate entries at 5 and 8 respectively, meaning Holler misses out and is Spice Girls' 11th most popular song since their reunion was revealed. The most popular Spice album track is Never Give Up The Good Times at Number 12, while spare a thought for Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) which lands at Number 20.
