Sonic the Hedgehog 3 speeds into a Number 1 debut in the UK

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 earns a Number 1 debut on the Official Film Chart, unseating reigning champion Paddington in Peru.
The third instalment in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series marks the third film from the series - a full house - to top the Film Chart in the UK. In the film, Sonic, Knuckles and Tails reunite to fight Shadow the Hedgehog, a mysterious and impossibly powerful new villain. Outmatched in every ability, Team Sonic team up with an unlikely party to try and stop Shadow and protect the planet.
Meanwhile, Paddington in Peru drops to Number 2 after two weeks at the top, while Wicked lifts one place (3), switching places with a big new entry from last week, Mufasa: The Lion King (4). Animated former chart-topper Moana 2 spends another week at Number 5, while Conclave drops four (6).
Chart regular Venom: The Last Dance holds strong in the Top 10 for another week, dropping one place (7), while The Wild Robot lifts one place (8).
Sci-Fi sequel Dune: Part Two rockets 20 places this week back into the Top 10, landing at Number 9, and finishing ahead of a big new entry this week, Heretic (10).
Psychological horror film Heretic stars Hugh Grant as antagonist Mr Reed, who draws two young Mormon missionaries into a deadly game of cat-and-mouse inside his home when they knock on his door during their rounds.
