Sigrid's Strangers takes the Number 1 spot on this week's Official Trending Chart
Sigrid has sailed to the Number 1 spot on this week's Official Trending Chart with her latest single Strangers.
The Norwegian singer's track tops the chart of 20 songs making a big impact in the UK this week, based on movement up the Official Singles Chart.
Strangers has been scaling the Top 40 over the past few weeks after topping this year's BBC Sound Of poll. Two weeks ago, Strangers became the star's first Top 40 hit, entering at 26 and climbing to 14 the following week.
The song is on track to zoom into the Top 10 on this Friday's Official Singles Chart (Feb 4), currently up ten places to Number 4 in the latest sales flash.
Another track making waves this week is Portugal The Man's Feel It Still. First finding fame for its use in an Apple TV advert, the song has so far logged 26 weeks inside the singles chart Top 100 and is set for a new peak this week, up 11 places to Number 9.
Rudimental's new single These Days is also making a big impression this week. The London collective's new single, which features Jess Glynne and Macklemore, is on track to climb into the Top 20. Rising star Mabel also features this week - her latest single Fine Line ft. Not3s is expected to climb further on this week's Official Singles Chart.
Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake impacts this week's trending Top 20 with Say Something ft. Chris Stapleton, the third track from Justin's upcoming Man Of The Woods album. Two Migos songs from their new album Culture II also appear, Walk It Talk It ft. Drake and Motor Sport ft. Cardi B and Nicki Minaj, as does Birmingham rapper Mist with what looks set to be his breakthrough hit, Game Changer.
Finally, Zedd's new single The Middle ft. Maren Morris and Grey makes its Official Trending Chart debut, as does Paloma Faith's latest track 'Til I'm Done following her performance on last week's Graham Norton Show.

About the Official Trending Chart
The Official Trending Chart was launched in 2016 to highlight the hottest new tracks beginning to make an impact in the UK every week.
The Top 20 rundown, published on OfficialCharts.com every Tuesday, based on the first four days’ sales of each chart week, is designed to highlight emerging hits as they begin to scale the Official Charts and build buzz.
The Official Trending Chart ranks titles which are showing week-on-week chart growth, and is the only “new music” chart to reflect audio track sales and streams comprehensively across all services.
Devised by the Official Charts Company in close consultation with labels, retailers and media, the chart since launch has highlighted emerging hits such as Number 1 singles Sign Of The Times by Harry Styles, New Rules by Dua Lipa and Taylor Swift's Look What You Made Me Do.
The chart is designed to help highlight hit singles in their early stages of their growth, in the light of the shift in release strategies of record labels over the past six months. Under “On Air On Sale”, labels have started to release new music for consumers to buy or stream on the same day as those tracks are released to media (including radio stations and TV).
