Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello land ninth week at Number 1 with Senorita on the Official Irish Charts

Dance Monkey by Tones & I zooms to the cusp of the Top 10, while lots of climbers reach new peaks.

Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello land a ninth straight week at Number 1 with Senorita – extending their run as the longest reigning Number 1 of the year so far.

Meanwhile, Lil Tecca’s Ransom (3) and Kygo & Whitney Houston’s Higher Love (5) both enter the Top 5 for the first time. Ransom is 16-year-old Lil Tecca’s first Top 5 single in Ireland, while Higher Love is Kygo’s second.

Post Malone by Dutch producer Sam Feldt feat. Rani climbs four to enter the Top 10 for the first time at Number 7, coincidentally one spot behind the artist Post Malone with his Young Thug featuring hit Goodbyes which is at Number 6.

Joel Corry claims his first Top 10 with Sorry climbing six to Number 8, and AJ Tracey’s Ladbroke Grove also enters the Top 10 for the first time after climbing four to Number 9.

Australian singer Tones & I zooms up 20 places to Number 11 with Dance Monkey. Taylor Swift picks up the highest new entry of the week with Lover (14), the title track of her latest album which is released today (August 23).

Elsewhere in the chart, Normani debuts with Motivation at Number 22, ahead of Miley Cyrus’ brand new track Slide Away at Number 25. There’s a new peak for Jax Jones & Bebe Rexha’s Harder after it climbs seven places to Number 27.

Further down, Gerry Cinnamon claims two singles on the Top 50 as Canter (38) and Belter (40) climb seven and three places respectively. Becky Hill & Weiss rise four with I Could Get Used To This (45).

Finally, BRIT Award winner Jorja Smith debuts at Number 48 with new single Be Honest featuring Burna Boy.
