Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s Senorita remains the UK’s hottest track for another week, notching up a third non-consecutive stint at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart.

The track racked up 62,000 chart sales this week, made up of 6.9 million streams and 9,000 downloads, to keep Ed Sheeran’s Beautiful People ft. Khalid at bay (2).

Meanwhile, London hip hop artist AJ Tracey sees his breakout hit Ladbroke Grove reach new heights, lifting three places to Number 4. The track has so far spent 22 weeks inside the Top 100 and was boosted into the Top 40 in June with the release of a remix featuring General Levy and Novelist.

Two more songs enjoy a significant uplift this week: Dominic Fike’s 3 Nights lifts six spots to make its Top 10 debut at 8, and Kygo and Whitney Houston’s Higher Love climbs five to Number 10. It marks Whitney’s first Top 10 entry in ten years, since 2009’s Million Dollar Bill. Look at Whitney Houston's Official UK Chart history in full here.

Further down, Chris Brown’s No Guidance ft. Drake vaults into the Top 20, up nine places to Number 17, and producer/DJ Joel Corry zooms 17 rungs to Number 21 with Sorry, boosted in part after featuring on ITV’s Love Island. Finally, Ransom by US rapper Lil Tecca jumps 17 places to Number 23.

So glad at least Ed isn't number one this week...Happy with Whitney Houston and her top 10 single in over a decade!! Surprised sill that Katy Perry new single never cracked the top 10!!

No new songs entering the Top 40 is a big surprise, but I've not loved the Top 2 this much in a very long time! :)

Elsewhere, I'm also really liking '3 Nights' & especially 'Higher Love' entering the Top 10 for the first time.

It is funny Piran as every single week you are pleased with the album and single charts!! that is very weird..i think you are just waiting for other people to reply to you....

Expect the new current Princess of Pop Ariana Grande to end team Mendes/Cabello as she has the streaming power to match..As for big climber??Not in my book if they are not at least 20 places upwards but that's far and few between these days.

If her streaming numbers are as good as the 'Thank U, Next' singles were, 'Boyfriend' is probably getting at least a month at #1.

I'd have said 10+ places to be a "big climber", but you're right, we don't tend to see to many of those nowadays unless it's beneath the Top 40.

Except I'm not.

I've given several songs 5/10 or below that have entered the Top 40 over the past few weeks. The stuff I comment on in this article is just looking at the positives, which I summarised in two sentences here. Everything else is either mixed, negative, or not interesting enough to talk about.

I praised 'Senorita', 'Beautiful People' & 'Higher Love' here because, you know, I think they're good songs!
