Scissor Sisters reunion: are the band teasing a comeback tour?
12 years after Scissor Sisters announced an indefinite hiatus, the New York pop-rockers could be teasing a much-anticipated reunion.
Taking a leaf out of The Maccabees the band, comprising Jake Shears, Babydaddy, Ana Matronic, Del Marquis and Randy Real, have updated the profile images across their social media channels; switching them to some cryptic television status.
Oh, and the group's iconic logo has appeared on screens outside arenas up and down the country. Ta-dah!

As well as the band's social media switch-up, their logo's since been displayed outside venues including Manchester's Co-op Live, London's The O2 and Glasgow's OVO Hydro.
Could a reunion tour be in the works?
"Sorry what? A @scissorsisters logo shows up on the side of @TheCoopLive and they blank their social media headers?," questioned one fan. "Are we about to see the coolest reunion of 2025?!"
Another commented: "OMG this @scissorsisters 'activity' has me on edge! Insta wiped, The O2 having the logo GIVE IT TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Scissor Sisters announced an indefinite hiatus during a performance at London's Roundhouse on October 23 2012, with Ana Matronic insisting a year later that the group were 'definitely not over' for good.
Reflecting on the band's break in 2019, Jake Shears told GayCities that the decision followed the success of 2012 single Let's Have A Kiki.
He explained: "I didn’t know what the f**k to say after that song, quite honestly.
"When that song came out and did what it did,I was just like, 'Well, there it is, I guess we did it.'
"I thought, we’ve been recording and touring for 10 years, and I felt like it was time. This wasn’t what anybody in the band had planned to do. So I thought it would be fun to end on a high note."
To date, Scissor Sisters boast four UK Top 10 albums, including two chart-topping LPs: 2004's Scissor Sisters (1), 2006's Ta-Dah! (1), 2010's Night Work (2) and 2012 release Magic Hour (4).
The group's 2006 track I Don't Feel Like Dancin' topped the Official Singles Chart in 2006; one of 10 UK Top 40 singles.
Are Scissor Sisters reuniting?
Look, nothing's 100% confirmed yet, but we'd say that's looking pretty likely.
Are Scissor Sisters going on a reunion tour in 2025?
Again, we're yet to hear an official announcement, though we doubt the biggest arenas across the country have joined forces to troll us all.
Will Scissor Sisters release new music?
In all honesty? No idea.
Time will tell and, in the meantime, we'll chuck on a bit of Take Your Mama.
