Sam Smith is teasing the release of their new single To Die For
UPDATE 10/02: Sam Smith has announced a TV performance and pop-up shop promoting their new single To Die For.
Sam will guest on The Graham Norton Show for the final episode of the series this Friday, alongside guests Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick, Oti Mabuse and Alan Carr.
In addition, a pop-up shop will be open in Soho, London from Wednesday February 12 to Friday February 14. At 4pm on Friday, there will be an exclusive opening event that fans have a chance to attend by RSVPing over at todiefor.uk.
“Releasing this song is going to be a wild one," said Sam. "I feel like it’s from one of the deepest parts of me. I wrote this with Jimmy Napes and Stargate in LA during a time of self-discovery and heartbreak. This is for all the lonely hearts out there on another Valentine’s Day xx"

An Instagram account that follows only Sam, called @todiefor_, has posted a serious of cryptic photos of mannequin heads in a shop window, with the words To Die For on the glass.
The account was previously used to hype the releases of How Do You Sleep and I Feel Love, but has now been renamed.
One of the posts features audio from the movie Donnie Darko (backed by piano), referencing not wanting to die alone. The film reference ties in with a teaser from radio DJ Alex Waters, who tweeted that Sam had a new single out soon, inspired by classic movies.

The mannequins on the Instagram account also feature across Sam's Spotify channel, with their classic hits now having vertical videos featuring the plastic figures.
To Die For will be released on Valentine's Day, according to a new promotional website featuring the song's lyrics in Sam's official font styling.
Sam has another song in the pipeline with Ryan Tedder. The OneRepublic frontman gave us an exclusive on their first song together, describing it as "bonkers".
