RuPaul's Drag Race: The most popular lip sync for your life songs of season 10

There's been no shortage of showstopping lip syncs on this series of Drag Race, each set to a classic pop anthem.

Across its ten series, RuPaul's Drag Race has played fast and loose with its rules, but one crucial element of the show has remained constant throughout: the lip sync for your life, where the bottom two contestants go toe to toe (heel to heel?) in one last attempt to remain in the running to become the next drag superstar.

Often the highlight of each episode, this season - which comes to end this week - has had no shortage of showstopping lip syncs, usually set to a classic pop anthem.

Unsurprisingly, such a moment often sends people back to the songs, some of which have enjoyed a significant boost after their outing.

Eureka O'Hara Vs. Kameron Michaels: Patti Labelle - New Attitude

As far as lip sync battles go, they don't come much closer than Eureka and Kameron's, set to Patti Labelle's energetic '80s classic New Attitude. In fact, it was a toss-up that couldn't be called, with both contestants allowed to stay in the competition. Although the song failed to chart in the UK when it was released, sales and streams of the track were up over 5000% in the week after the episode aired.

The Vixen Vs. Monique Heart: Carly Rae Jepsen - Cut To The Feeling

The two popular contestants battled it out over Carly Rae's joyous Cut To The Feeling, with The Vixen coming out on top after it turned out Monique didn't know the words (an inexcusable crime on RPDR). Still, the showdown resulted in a 194% week-on-week uplift for the song, cementing its status as a cult pop classic.

Kameron Michaels Vs. Monét X Change: Lizzo - Good As Hell

US singer/rapper Lizzo isn't established in the UK, so a boost for her track Good As Hell is to be expected, but its sales and streaming uplift of 981% can also be attributed to it being performed by who were generally considered the series' two strongest lip syncers. Plus, the track itself is great, which always helps.

Monét X Change Vs. Dusty Ray Bottoms: Nicki Minaj - Pound The Alarm

Two very different queens took on Nicki's Pound The Alarm, but it was Monét's comedy routine to the bonkers track that secured her another week in the competition. The song's streaming count doubled in the following week, with an overall uplift of 148%

The Final Four: RuPaul - American

The remaining four contestants - Aquaria, Eureka, Asia and Kameron - re-worked the title track from Ru's latest album (now available on iTunes) for the semi-final. Combining the original with the new remixed version, sales and streams of American increased by almost 3000%. Impressive, but not a patch on the power of Patti.
