Robbie Williams has announced a brand new tour set to kickstart next year, which will include a date at London's Emirates Stadium.

Robbie Williams Live will kick off next summer, with dates in Edinburgh, London, Manchester, Bath and Dublin amongst a full-scale European tour.

Better Man - the highly-anticipated biopic of Robbie's life directed by The Greatest Showman's Michael Gracey and featuring a CGI monkey (!) as Robbie himself - will debut in UK cinemas in December, alongside its official soundtrack.

Speaking on the tour announcement, Robbie said: "This tour is going to be my boldest yet - I can’t wait to see you next year. There will be songs from the movie ‘Better Man’, and some new music too…but more on that soon."

Robbie is one of the most successful acts in UK chart history. He holds the Official Chart record as the solo artist with the most UK Number 1 albums ever (14), only The Beatles, the most successful act to ever grace the Official Charts, have more with 15.

Better Man, which is set to release in UK cinemas December 26 with its original soundtrack album following on December 27, is a semi-autobiographical re-telling of Robbie's emergence into the music industry and tabloid media as a member of Take That and then a solo star.

Robbie will be voicing himself in the film, although he will be portrayed as a CGI monkey, because why not? The film will also star Steve Pemberton as Robbie's father and Gavin and Stacey's Alison Steadman as his mother. It's the first feature-length film director Michael Gracey has worked on since his record-breaking debut, the musical The Greatest Showman.

Tickets for the tour go on general sale this Friday (November 15). See all the UK and Ireland dates for Robbie Williams live below.
